The Jerk Spotlight! 29 December, 2008
This video popped up on Reddit and it reminded me of all the reasons I hate psychics so much. The psychic/fraud, Silvia Browne, is questioned by a tearful audience member who relates the difficult time she's had since she lost her boyfriend who was never found. With unflinching confidence the fraud responds, "The reason why you didn't find him is 'cause he's in water." This is a good guess since the disappearance of an able-bodied man could involve drowning. The look on the questioner's face is priceless. Watch the video to hear the real reason why he hasn't been found. It's tragic. Psychics are jerk royalty. At best, they're deluded narcissists who have convinced themselves that they have supernatual powers that others simply don't possess. At worst, they're con artists preying on emotionally devastated people. Psychics, you're jerks!
